Winter Showcase Volunteers: If anyone is interested in volunteering backstage for the winter showcase, please let the front desk know and you will not need to buy tickets. Female volunteers only because you will be in the girls' dressing rooms. Please be there 45 minutes before show time. You may bring your dancer with you at that time. Please do not bring any other children with you! Volunteers will be chaperoning our dancers backstage.
Dancer Drop Off: Before your child meets back stage, it is a good idea to have them completely changed into their costumes and shoes and have the parents hold on to an extra things they may have. Do not forget to use the bathroom! We have a lot of students that will be back stage so it is easier to keep all personal items with their family. If your child is in numerous dances, please bring the extra costumes and shoes back stage. Please do NOT bring food back-stage. We have a lot of students allergic to peanuts, so we want to make sure this is a safe environment for everyone. Once you are performance ready, head backstage. You enter through the hallway to the left of the auditorium. You should see staff members standing at the entrance! We ask that only 1 female adult walk back with them. All grades 1st and younger will be on stage for pick up at the end of our performance. It is a good idea not to bring extra belongings back there. We will have crayons and paper for them to color during the performances while they are backstage.
When dropping off a younger child, we encourage that this is a quick process and that the parent does not come back in the room. The reason for this is sometimes a parent will stay too long with the child and then it is harder for the parent to leave. Please remember that if there is a problem, we will always page you to come back stage. You will have a designated number below. Please remember your class performance number!
Child Pick Up: The show will last approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes. All students will stay back stage so they can come out at the end to take a bow at our finale. All classes Grs. 1st and under, will be picked up on stage. We will have our volunteers stand on stage with them until a parent comes to get them. All classes Gr. 2 - 8th must be picked up back-stage by 1 adult parent where they were dropped off. Boys will be back stage as well in a separate room! Anyone that is Gr. 9th and older is allowed to leave without a parent. Please discuss a meeting point with your parent if you choose to leave by yourself.
Back to Back shows: We do back to back shows: one at 2pm and one at 4pm. Please make sure if you are in the 2pm show, we ask that you help us clear out for our next showcase. 4pm dancers: please do not arrive earlier than 3:30 to report backstage!
Updated Performance Order: Remember your performance number! You will be finding your designated spot backstage. Remembering this number will make it a faster drop off for you!
